STORY OF FAITH
Welcome Faith Invaders. Welcome to my world of chaos but yet a blessing. Let me start by introducing myself. My name is Leroyna and I am the face behind Faith Invasion. Faith Invasion was created about a year after my kids were diagnosed with schizoaffective disorder. My kids are 20, 15 and 10. My 20-year-old son and my 15-year-old daughter were the first of my soldiers that have been recruited to suit up for battle against this ongoing mental illness war. I've learned recently that my now 10-year-old son was recruited as well. It's been a continuous emotional journey for us all and I would love to share our journey with all of you and I hope you can share yours. It has not been easy, and I sure don't expect it to be. I am also married, and my husband is the most loving and supportive human being that I have ever met. He has stood by us through it all. He hasn't been just a stepfather; he has been the real deal to my children. The logo you see that is in all different colors on the home page, I created based on many types of awareness. Green represents mental health, pink would be breast cancer, purple would be lupus or fibromyalgia etc. Physical illness many times are connected to mental health because depression can also be the result of dealing with the physical illness. The two butterflies at the top represent destiny, the two ribbons at the bottom represents awareness, the heart and lifeline is considered the love line and lastly, Faith Invasion means we are invading this illness with endless faith. I hope we all can get to know each other and show support to one another. If you are dealing with mental illness or you have a loved one that is fighting...please join and become apart of the Faith Invasion family. It's too much stigma in this world to not need each other. You can also view my facebook page "Mom's Of The Bipolar/Schizophrenia". Don't be fooled by the title...anyone can join. The name was based around my children. I would love to chat with all of you Faith Invaders very soon. Thank you for viewing. We have lots to chat about!
